COLOR CUSHION EUROPEAN DOVE
Este diseño se inspira en la Tórtola Europea “Streptopelia turtur”, un ave pequeña pero esbelta, típica de zonas rurales asociada a campiñas, dehesas y arboledas abiertas con abundante vegetación arbustiva, preferentemente junto a herbazales y zonas de labranza donde alimentarse. Su llegada en marzo y abril anuncia la primavera. Símbolo del amor fiel, empleándose en el lenguaje coloquial tortolitos como sinónimo de pareja de enamorados. Los vistosos colores de sus alas mezclan los colores marrones, negros y ocres, que contrastan con su pecho rosado y su cabeza gris azulado.
En las últimas décadas está sufriendo una continua regresión, debido a la presión que sufre durante la migración por su consideración como especie cinegética.
