  • Tips for caring for woolen garments
Wool is a natural fiber. It is repellent to water and dirt. It is not necessary to wash it frequently, since its natural protection, lanolin, disappears with many washes. It is enough to shake and hang the garment in the open air. When you need a wash you can do it dry (does not shrink) or by hand max. 30 degrees. Let dry flat. Use neutral soap for wool, ecological, if possible. Shrinkage in the first wash 6% approx.

To store in the most natural way, avoiding toxic products, for long periods it is recommended to put the wool product in a cloth or plastic bag sealed with 3 or 4cedar wood pellets (available in our store)to prevent moths from messing with the wool. The balls have to be wrapped in a light cloth so that they do not stain the wool. Bay leaves also repels moths.

Merino wool is a natural product. Its handmade production in limited quantities means that tiny damages can be found in the fabric, such as specks of fibers of another color or some small knot. This makes it an even more special, natural and authentic product.

  • The manufacture of the blanket has taken place entirely in Spain, with the utmost respect for the environment, animals and people. The white wool comes from the transhumant flock of Merino sheep managed by the Asociación Transhumancia y Naturaleza and the brown wool comes from the flock of black Merino sheep (in danger of extinction) from the Cabello-Bravo organic farm, Siruela, Extremadura.
